What is a dimming film?
The dimming film is a new type of electronic light control product, also known as: PDLC, electronic control film, atomizing film, electronic curtain, smart film, switchable film, privacy film, magic film.
The liquid crystal/polymer mixed material is injected between two transparent conductive films (ITO) and synthesized by precision coating.
The switchable film is divided into non adhesive film and self adhesive film.
The non adhesive film is used for PDLC laminated glass
there is AB glue on the back of the self-adhesive dimming film, which can be directly attached to the glass surface to achieve the function and characteristics of dimming.
Principle of dimming film
The dimming film is mainly made of PDLC liquid crystal film + ITO conductive layer. The liquid crystal molecules in the non-energized state are in a disorderly arrangement state,
showing a foggy state; the liquid crystal molecules in the energized state are arranged in an orderly manner according to the direction of the electric field,
so that The film layer has high light transmittance.
